The lapped collar goes into a high bust seam, with deep pleats falling from the shoulder to the bust point and at the center back. The sleeves are three-quarter length and slightly full. I wanted to explore the fitting techniques of the 1930‘s bias dress, so rather than darts, the bust fullness is eased into a smaller skirt, allowing it to drape gently over the body. The bias cut allows it to stretch over the bust and hips, compensating by nipping in at the waist. Bracelet-length sleeves and V-neck give it sex appeal as well. Knee length. $145
